We are seeking an experienced full-time Parts Counter Sales Representative to assist in our fast-growing dealership. This position includes assisting customers with the purchase of zero turn mowers, tractors, handheld goods, parts, and other construction and outdoor power equipment accessories. The ideal candidate must have great communications skills, a positive attitude, good phone etiquette, and ability to multitask.
Job Duties
Sell outdoor power equipment parts to customers calling or walking into the store.
Schedule and create rental contracts.
Participate in routine inventory counts.
Greet customers in a friendly and timely manner.
Customer Service - Manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
Respond promptly to customer needs.
Solicit customer feedback to improve service.
Respond to requests for service and assistance.
Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; respond well to questions.
Follow all company and vendor policies and procedures.
Adaptability - Adapt to changes in the work environment; Manage competing demands.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Degree or GED
1+ year of experience in a related field.
Ability to work well with others and perform tasks without supervision.
Knowledge of Outdoor Power Equipment, including brands; Stihl, Scag, Bad Boy & Husqvarna.
Ability to comfortably operate computer to access dealer software, parts diagrams, & manufacturer details.
Experience in a retail environment, restocking of retail shelves, and organization of showroom.
Physical ability to stand for long periods of time.
