Part Time - Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12PM-5PM Job Overview:
Parker Towing Co, Inc., founded in 1940, is a leading barge line operator in the United States. We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. This is a part time position with no prior experience required – just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn! Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and provide excellent customer service.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
- Maintain the front desk and reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scheduling.
- Support other departments with ad hoc tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or a willingness to learn.
