Inspire and guide secondary students in a dynamic educational setting as a contract math teacher for the upcoming school year. This role offers a chance to shape young minds and build a strong mathematical foundation within a supportive school environment. Working onsite for the duration of the school year, you’ll play a pivotal part in student growth while collaborating with dedicated colleagues.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Alabama Teacher’s Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with a valid Math endorsement
- Proficient in the use of classroom technology to enhance instruction
- Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a classroom atmosphere that supports both learning and personal development
- Build rapport and positive relationships with students to promote engagement and achievement
- Motivate and challenge students to expand their skills, attitudes, and mathematical knowledge
- Incorporate technology effectively to advance student learning and prepare them for future success
- Collaborate with parents, co-workers, and the school community to maximize student potential
- Fulfill additional duties as directed by school leadership
Position Details:
- Contract role for the 2026-2027 academic year (August through May)
- Full-time hours, onsite commitment
- Three positions available
