Are you ready to take your career to new heights? We're seeking a talented Production Scheduler to join our client’s team.
Objective: Schedule manufacturing orders, and coordinate the flow of work and materials to meet delivery expectations of forecasted and actual sales
Job Responsibilities :
· Plan, schedule and control each equipment line.
· Provide planning scenarios to operations to accommodate breakdowns, constraints, and available capacities.
· Evaluate quality reports and reroute material accordingly (e.g., rework material, etc.)
· Production order closings
· Daily review of material available for allocation due to fallout and late order urgency
· Make weekly planning decisions to reduce changeover time while increasing SOTIF.
· Communication to operations and sales
Requirements:
· Solid understanding of production processes, inventory management and supply chain management processes
· Knowledge and experience with Sales & Operations Planning
· Skilled in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
· Knowledge of production forecasting, capacity planning, and production cost control.
Education & Experience:
· High School degree or EGD
· A degree is preferred Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar
· >5 demonstrable experience in production planning or scheduling, preferably within the relevant industry
