Staff Accountant

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Monitor and reconcile company credit card accounts

· Manage and reconcile company travel-related accounts (AirPlus and Conferma)

· Process journal entries and support the month-end and year-end close processes

· Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed

· Assist in transitioning to the new accounting software (Acumatica)

· Assist in organizing financial records in Box.com

· Help prepare documentation for internal and external audits

· Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and vendors regarding financial matters

· All other tasks required by supervisor

Skills and Experience:

· Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Testing upon interview)

· 1-3 years of experience in accounting or financial role

· Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices

· Experience with ERP systems is a plus (current software: Sage and Made2Manage)

· Ability to adapt to changing priorities, processes, and systems in a dynamic work environment

· Professional demeanor with colleagues

· Strong attention to detail with excellent organization and time management skills.

· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education:

· High School diploma required.

· Bachelor’s degree or actively pursuing a degree in accounting or a related field

Other:

· In Office Work hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm CT and Friday 7:30am-11:30am CT

· NO REMOTE WORK

· Ability to work overtime when needed

· Little to no travel
