Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time position is available for the 2025/2026 school year at a K-12 school located in Jacksonville, Alabama. This contract role focuses on providing speech and language support within the school environment, offering you an excellent opportunity to contribute to students' communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Provide services on-site to support students in achieving their communication goals
- Maintain compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
Position Details:
- Location: Jacksonville, AL
- Duration: Contract for the fall semester
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site position
- Reason for vacancy: Maternity leave coverage until December
