Reports To: Primary: Commercial Loan Officer; Secondary : Branch Manager
Supervises: No Supervisory Responsibility
JOB SUMMARY
Admin Support will assist Commercial/Consumer Loan Officer, will be responsible for gathering documents required for the Loan Officer, customer correspondence. Additionally, will compose letters, documents, memos and reports. Branch Administration Support will also assist Branch in opening and maintenance of customer accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and assist customers and visitors both in the branch as well as by phone
- Primary duties are to provide support to Loan Officer to include:
- Accepting customer credit applications and setting appointments with the lender
- Assist customers with information concerning commercial/consumer loans
- Submit application and supporting documentation to Central Loan Processing
- Assist customers with signing loan documents
- Scan signed loan documents and supporting documents to Central Loan Processing
- Submitting the monthly inspection report for construction loans
- Will also assist the branch by performing the following duties:
- Provides exceptional customer service
- Scan teller work
- Assists customers in opening new accounts, CDs, IRAs and reissuing debit cards
- Assists customers with account inquiries regarding products and basic problem resolution
- Responsible for using bank applications and computer programs to include: Word, Excel, UPS, Penley
- Order Supplies and submits maintenance requests for the Branch
- Assist Bank Security Officer with Branch specific items
- Remain current on Banking Regulations
- Notarize documents for customers
- Follow all bank processes and procedures while adhering to applicable laws and regulations
- Assist co-workers as needed to aid in customer resolution
- As a member of the branch, ensures sound banking practices, including identifying and reporting operational risks
- Must establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to navigate varying priorities in a dual reporting structure
- Other duties as assigned
This position is considered non-exempt and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience
- Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
PREFERRED QULALIFICATIONS
- Previous financial services experience

- Strong communication and listening skills
- Patience and ability to remain calm and professional
- Working knowledge of general office equipment
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Requires extended periods of sitting, standing and walking; and frequent bending or stooping
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
- May require working under stressful conditions
- Ability to transport/lift up to 20 lbs.
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- May be asked on occasion to participate in a community function
