The Cashier plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and accurate transactions within a small team of 1-3 cashiers, directly reporting to the Owner. This position involves handling cash, processing sales through the POS system, assisting with inventory tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized work place. The role requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate various shifts.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash and manage transactions accurately
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently
- Process sales and return transactions
- Assist with inventory tracking and stock replenishment
- Verify prices and manage receipts for customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the work place
- Knows basics of cooking
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in retail or cashiering roles
- Cash handling proficiency
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic math ability
