Location: Birmingham & North Birmingham, AL
Hours: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday to Sunday
Pay: $23 – $28.50/hr (includes hourly wage, tips, and mileage reimbursement)

MagicCity Parcel is a trusted DoorDash partner providing high-quality, lightweight delivery services across Birmingham. We handle meal deliveries from restaurants directly to customers, ensuring a seamless experience. This is a W-2 employment role —no competition for orders, no chasing “hot spots,” just reliable pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive Orders: Use the DoorDash app to receive and manage customer delivery orders.

• Deliver Orders: Safely deliver meals using your personal vehicle and move on to your next order.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all orders are complete, accurate, and delivered on time.

• Safety: Follow all traffic laws and drive responsibly according to road and weather conditions.

Qualifications:

• At least 20 years old with a minimum of 2 years of driving history .

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and access to an insured personal vehicle.

• Comfortable using smartphones and apps, with basic troubleshooting skills.

• Experience in delivery, logistics, retail, or restaurant environments preferred.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Able to pass background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record check.

• Self-motivated, positive, and enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay: $17/hr plus 100% of tips and $0.25/mile mileage reimbursement .

• Total Compensation: $23 – $28.50/hr depending on shift and performance.

Additional Information:

• Delivery hours are Monday – Sunday, 4 PM – 12 AM , covering Birmingham & North Birmingham areas.

• This is not an independent contractor (1099) role ; this is a W-2 employment position.
