Rev up your career at Auto Whiz , Birmingham's automotive hub! We're on the lookout for a full- or part-time entry-level Automotive Service Technician to join our auto crew. We offer a competitive pay range of $12.00 - $15.00 per hour and time and a half if you work over 40 hours. We also offer this position uniforms and a chance to accrue 10 hours of PTO a week if you work full-time (and arrive on time). Our amazing benefits include paid vacation, and paid holidays (Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, July 4th). Employees also have the option to purchase a Blue Cross plan as well as Aflac!

WORK SCHEDULE:

Your workdays? The full-time schedule for this auto position is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The part-time schedule is negotiable. No fancy shifts, just a straightforward gig with opportunities for overtime if you're up for it.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN:

You'll kick off your day with the basics: oil changes, tire work, and battery installations. No magic, just good old mechanical know-how. Working with the team, you'll keep the wheels turning, tackling routine maintenance and troubleshooting the occasional gremlin under the hood. It's a hands-on role, no fluff-just the grind of making sure vehicles leave our garage ready to hit the road.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS AN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN:

We will train the right person! As long as you are optimistic and have a strong work ethic, we can train you.

Preferred qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
