Our custom apps for iPhone and Android devices help public safety organizations reach their citizens where they are: their smartphones. We have grown to be a leader in our field and are in search other motivated professionals to add to our dynamic team. We are currently recruiting for a IT Part-Time Intern to work on-site at our headquarters in Opelika, Alabama. The IT Intern will work closely with our IT Specialist to assist with device setup, troubleshooting, and foundational system administration within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and basic network issues across macOS and Windows devices.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning, access modifications, and device configuration.
- Support mobile device and workstation management, including applying configurations, updating inventories, and enforcing security policies.
- Maintain accurate IT asset records and track equipment throughout its lifecycle.
- Monitor system and device health, escalating performance or security concerns as needed.
- Perform routine system maintenance and assist with endpoint security tasks.
- Support implementation of security best practices, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), password resets, permissions reviews, and compliance monitoring.
- Contribute to documentation updates, knowledge base improvements, internal training initiatives, and cybersecurity awareness efforts.
- Assist with backup monitoring and verification processes.
What We Require for This Role:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university studying Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of Windows and macOS systems and basic troubleshooting principles.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic technical environment.
- Availability to work on-site in Opelika, Alabama.
