Instrumentation & Electrical Technician
- Technical associate's degree, Industrial Mechanic Tech or electrician certification.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 - 7 years Industrial experience in a manufacturing environment / Electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written. Ability to demonstrate initiative and assertiveness, the ability to plan and organize work in anefficient manner, and the ability to work well under stress and time pressures.
- Experience troubleshooting and programming electrical controls not limited to:
- Allen Bradley (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, & SLC 500) and Siemens PLC's (TIA Portal)
- A/C and D/C motors, motor controllers and motor drives (ABB, Siemens, & Demag)
- Experience troubleshooting strain gauges, analog signals, and digital signals.
- Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
- Familiar with the National Electric Code
- Willing and able to work any shift, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations
- Willing and able to work at heights
- Experience with CMMS systems, will be trained on in house system
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Self-motivate, team oriented, and excellent interpersonal skill
