Project Manager/Crew Leader

Project Manager/Crew Leader Job Description: The Henry Hudson Company is seeking an experienced project manager/crew leader to assist in management of our busy millwork facility. We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual who has experience in warehouse management and millwork. The position is responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, operations and staff to efficiently produce and ship our products.

Salary: $17/hr - $28/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40hrs/week, overtime available

Responsibilities of a Project Manager/Crew Leader:

● Assists in management of warehouse activities in support of manufacturing operations including but not limited to receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials

● Enforces established safety guidelines, promotes a safe workplace

● Maintains accurate records and metrics

● Ensures accurate and timely shipments and receipts

● Trains, supervises, motivates, and develops crew members, manages schedules and workflow

● Assigns duties and monitors quality of work, assures crew members conform to organizational policies/procedures and government regulations

● Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of crew members

Project Manager/Crew Leader Job Requirements:

● High school degree or equivalent

● 3+ years’ experience in warehouse management/millwork preferred

● Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

● Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates

● Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills

● Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

● Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

● Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical labor necessary

● Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
