Position Title: Workday Payroll Integration Lead Analyst
Location: 100% Remote (PST Hours)
Duration: 3-6 Month Contract

Job Description:

The System Director of Financial Services is seeking a highly skilled Workday Payroll Integration Lead Analyst to join the team on a contract basis. This role is focused on bridging the gap between payroll business needs and the technical integration efforts within Workday.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Workday Payroll fields and technical objects, with proven experience in gathering and translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications. While the actual integration build will be handled by the Workday technical team, this role will take ownership of producing comprehensive technical requirements to guide those efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with payroll business stakeholders and integration teams to understand payroll processes and system requirements.
• Lead the elicitation and documentation of business and technical requirements related to Workday payroll integrations.
• Develop detailed and clear technical specifications for Workday payroll integration components and data flows.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on Workday payroll fields, data elements, and technical objects.
• Act as a liaison between business teams and Workday integration developers to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
• Provide guidance and oversight to integration resources on technical requirements and best practices.
• Support testing and validation of payroll integrations to ensure they meet business and technical requirements.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to the System Director and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Workday Payroll modules, data fields, and technical objects.
• Experience gathering requirements and creating detailed technical specifications in a Workday environment.
• Proven ability to translate complex business processes into technical documentation.
• Prior experience working with Workday integration teams or third-party technical resources.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
