Civil Engineering Regional Leader – Birmingham, AL
Are you ready to lead, grow, and make your mark?
TTL is seeking a Civil Engineering Regional Leader to guide and expand our Birmingham team while strengthening client relationships across Alabama. This high-impact role is meant for a licensed PE who wants more than just project delivery. In this job, you’ll help shape our regional presence, mentor rising engineers, and drive strategic growth in a key market.
From leading multi-discipline projects to building long-term client partnerships, you’ll have the autonomy and support to do your best work and, ultimately, see results in the communities we serve.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and grow the Birmingham civil engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
- Build and strengthen client relationships across Alabama, serving as a trusted advisor
- Drive business development, including pursuits, proposals, and strategic positioning
- Oversee project delivery across multi-discipline teams (scope, schedule, budget, quality)
- Provide technical leadership in civil design, including grading, utilities, and site development
- Collaborate across TTL offices and coordinate with subconsultants and partners
- Shape the future of TTL’s civil services in the region
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Eight to 15 years of progressive experience in land development and/or civil site design
- Licensed professional engineer (PE) in Alabama (or ability to obtain)
- Experience leading teams and managing client relationships
- Strong background in project delivery and business development
