Civil Engineering Regional Leader – Birmingham, AL

TTL is seeking a Civil Engineering Regional Leader to guide and expand our Birmingham team while strengthening client relationships across Alabama. This high-impact role is meant for a licensed PE who wants more than just project delivery. In this job, you’ll help shape our regional presence, mentor rising engineers, and drive strategic growth in a key market.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and grow the Birmingham civil engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
• Build and strengthen client relationships across Alabama, serving as a trusted advisor
• Drive business development, including pursuits, proposals, and strategic positioning
• Oversee project delivery across multi-discipline teams (scope, schedule, budget, quality)
• Provide technical leadership in civil design, including grading, utilities, and site development
• Collaborate across TTL offices and coordinate with subconsultants and partners
• Shape the future of TTL’s civil services in the region

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Eight to 15 years of progressive experience in land development and/or civil site design
• Licensed professional engineer (PE) in Alabama (or ability to obtain)
• Experience leading teams and managing client relationships
• Strong background in project delivery and business development
