Job Title: Criminal Defense Attorney

Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Criminal Defense Attorney to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced Criminal Defense Attorney. You will handle cases, work directly with clients, and appear in court to defend clients.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in criminal cases at all stages of litigation
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other documents
• Assist with case strategy, trial preparation, and negotiations
• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other proceedings
• Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• 3+ years of Criminal Defense experience; active with the AL Bar
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and manage a caseload
• Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills
