Cnc Programmer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join a leading manufacturing team supporting precision-machined components. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced programmer who thrives in a fast-paced machining environment and enjoys taking ownership of programming, process improvements, and production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of CNC programming experience, strong knowledge of multi-axis machining, and the ability to support complex, tight-tolerance parts from concept through production. Experience in the aerospace industry is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for precision-machined components.
- Take ownership of programming and process improvement initiatives.
- Enhance production efficiency through innovative programming solutions.
- Support complex, tight-tolerance parts from concept through production.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues independently.
- Select cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and work-holding methods.
- Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam, GibbsCAM, NX, Fusion 360, or similar platforms.
- Strong experience programming CNC Mills and Multi-Axis Machining Centers.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of GD&T.
- Experience supporting tight-tolerance precision machining operations.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Experience with 4-axis and 5-axis machining centers.
- Understanding of AS9100 quality standards.
- Experience programming complex aerospace, defense, or high-precision components.
- Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing process development.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, AL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.
