Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Evening & Night Shifts

Full-Time | Aspire Physical Recovery Center of West Alabama | Northport, AL

Base Pay: $25.00-$29.55 per hour (based on experience)

Available Shifts: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and 11:00 PM-7:00 AM

Aspire Physical Recovery Center of West Alabama is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. We currently have openings on our 3:00 PM-11:00 PM evening shift and 11:00 PM-7:00 AM night shift .

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , you'll provide exceptional nursing care to residents while working alongside Registered Nurses (RNs), therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in a supportive, resident-centered environment focused on rehabilitation and long-term care.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document changes in resident conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders.
• Monitor resident response to medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs), physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate electronic nursing documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Educate residents and families regarding care plans and health conditions.
• Respond promptly to changes in resident condition and communicate concerns appropriately.
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure quality resident care.
• Promote infection prevention, resident safety, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
