Progressive-Multi-Die Set Up & Operator – Cold Forming - Muscle Shoals, Alabama – Relocation Assistance Available

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Progressive-Multi-Die Set Up / Operator to join our team in beautiful northwest Alabama. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating multi-die progressive headers up to 6 stations, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with Engineers, Tool Room Technicians, and Supervisors. Experience with new part development is a plus. Relocation assistance is available for this position if you are outside of a reasonable commuting distance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate multi-die progressive headers, ensuring proper machine function and efficiency.

· Perform troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments to maintain production quality.

· Work closely with Engineers and Tool Room Technicians to assist in developing new parts.

· Conduct quality checks using precision measuring tools and document results.

· Perform daily preventive maintenance on machines to ensure long-term performance and reliability.

Equipment & Machinery:

· National 1250 5-Die Header

· National 750 5-Die Header with Universal Transfer

· Sacma 4-Die Pick and Place Transfer + 1 with True Progressive

· Carlo Salvi 6-Die Progressive

· Formax 55 National 5-Die Progressive

Qualifications & Skills:

· Minimum 5 years of experience with cold forming, progressive multi-die headers required.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

· Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in setup, production, and documentation.

· Basic computer skills for system entry and report generation.

· Ability to lift and move materials as required.

· Tool and Die experience a plus but not required.

· Machinist experience a plus but not required.
