Order Selector

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a motivated and reliable Order Selector to join a fast-paced, growing team in Bessemer, Alabama. Pay Rate
$19.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
2nd Shift, 3:00pm-Until finished. Order Selectors will work weekends as part of their regular 5-day work schedule

Order Selector Duties and Responsibilities

• Comfortable working in extreme temperature environments, including Perishables and Frozen Foods areas ranging from 51&degree;F down to -20&degree;F.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, order status, and raw material quantities while adapting to seasonal demand and sales trends.
• Efficiently load and organize boxes onto pallets to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
• Accurately maintain required records and reports to support smooth warehouse operations.

Order Selector Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent physical tasks, including lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, and twisting.
• Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with production goals; Freezer Selectors must average 185 cases per hour by the end of the 90-day probationary period and maintain that standard thereafter.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding role that requires focus, stamina, and efficiency.
• Proven order selecting experience is required.

Job Type
Full-time, temporary with temp-to-hire opportunities.
