We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our Aesthetics team! Your primary role is to directly assist the medical director in the room for procedures and to assist the IV nurse. You will also perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. This job is part time, for between 20-30hrs / week

Responsibilities:

• Set up the doctor's room and prep it for the aesthetic procedures for the day
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Escort patients to exam rooms, take pre procedure photos, make sure the consent and forms are all signed and in place
• Take after procedure photos and make sure follow up appointments are booked for the patient
• Call all patients before their procedures to ensure everything is in order
• Follow up with the patients within 24-72 hrs of procedure
• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures where needed

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare / aesthetics
• Familiarity with medical billing procedures helpful but not necessary
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability top work with others cooperatively without drama
