We are currently seeking a dependable Dietary Cook to join our growing organization.

🍳 Position Overview: Dietary Cook

The Dietary Cook prepares meals in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. Under the direction of the Food Service Director, this role ensures residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare food according to menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines
2. Comply with all federal, state, and local food safety and sanitation standards
3. Ensure quality food service is provided at all times
4. Assist with and help direct daily or scheduled cleaning duties
5. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
6. Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures

🏥 Qualifications:

1. Previous experience cooking large quantities or completion of an appropriate training program preferred
2. Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
3. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
4. Ability to follow oral and written instructions
5. Must be at least 18 years of age
6. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
