Solder Tech (Travel Contract)
Overview
FlexTrades offers 3-6 month Travel contract positions for highly skilled Solder techs for Manufacturing clients across the US. We provide hotel accommodations, Travel Pay, $45 per diem, and Overtime.
Solder Technician
Performing the tasks of an assembler (listed above) but also soldering.
15 of the total technicians must have an active or inactive J. Std. 001 certification (to ALL five modules).
- If inactive/expired, it has to be within the last year. Anything longer than that is not allowed.
9 of the total technicians must have an active or inactive J. Std. 001 certification with the wiring and terminal module.
- If inactive/expired, it has to be within the last year. Anything longer than that is not allowed.
Soldering is through and surface mount as well as soldering wires to CCAs, components to CCAs, and connector pins to CCAs.
You should be proficient in:
- Quality Inspection Experience
- Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
- Soldering
- PCB Components (Printed Circuit Board Components)
- Electrical / Electronic Systems
