OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Decatur, AL by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

HMD is recruiting experienced OTR solo CDL-A dry van drivers out of Decatur, AL to haul nationwide freight. The position focuses on professional long-haul operation, securement of freight, and on-time delivery while supporting a safety-first culture.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safely operate dry van tractor-trailers on OTR routes and make timely deliveries.
• Keep precise ELD/log records and perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Ensure proper cargo securement and follow DOT/FMCSA requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience with a clean driving history.
• Ability to run national lanes; home approximately every two weeks.
