Do you thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment where no two days are the same? Cahaba Valley Animal Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative (CSR) who is compassionate, organized, and dedicated to exceptional client service.
As the first point of contact in our animal hospital, you will create a welcoming, professional, and efficient experience for pets and their families. If you enjoy working with animals, love helping people, and can confidently manage phones, scheduling, and client communication, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Client Experience & Front Desk Operations
- Greet clients and pets with warmth, professionalism, and empathy
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations
- Maintain smooth front desk flow in a busy veterinary clinic
- Answer multi-line phones and provide accurate information about services
Communication & Support
- Educate pet parents on services and general pet care guidance
- Coordinate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to support patient care
- Handle client questions and concerns with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach
Administrative & Financial Responsibilities
- Process payments and manage client accounts accurately
- Enter and maintain precise client and patient records in our electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Ensure all documentation and transactions are completed efficiently
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or Veterinary CSR
- Experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or medical office setting
(If you’re a quick learner with strong customer service skills and a passion for veterinary medicine, we’re open to training the right candidate.)

- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Calm, professional demeanor in high-volume environments
- Comfortable using scheduling software and medical record systems
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support clinic operations
- Flexible availability (minimum four days per week, including rotating Saturdays)
