We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at the beautiful Greens at Tuscaloosa Apartments ! The Maintenance Director oversees all maintenance of the Apartment units and Office Clubhouse. Being reliable with attention to detail is the first step to becoming a Maintenance Director. The intention is to ensure the company facilities are maintained and sufficient to support the company’s business operations.

• Assigning Tasks, creating processes for assigning, completing and reporting on maintenance requests.
• Hiring and training new employees.
• Inspecting systems such as plumbing, heating and HVAC systems.
• Ensure health and safety policies are complaint.
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
• Perform any special projects assigned by the Community Director
• Direct and oversee all aspects of the Maintenance Department, including but not limited to: budgeting, scheduling, training, quality control, safety and compliance.
• Coordinate communication between management and staff regarding the status of maintenance projects
• Inspect building for signs of structural damage or other issues that could be a safety violation.
• Coordinate with contractors to take preventative maintenance updates.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Proven experience with maintenance repairs or management.
• Knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to maintain leadership skills through all daily tasks
• Experience in planning maintenance operations.
• Must be available to work weekends, evening, and holidays as scheduled.
