Senior Master Scheduler
Position Title: Senior Integrated Master Scheduler
Position Type: Onsite
Location: Huntsville, AL (Integrated Fires Directorate, PEO Missiles & Space)
Clearance: Secret
Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for multiple FMS and BPC programs.
- Integrate tiered master plans and schedules across various program offices, including resource loading and alignment with key milestones.
- Conduct critical path analysis and provide recommended remedial actions to program leads and leadership.
- Collaborate closely with Program Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to ensure IMS alignment with contract requirements and project timelines.
- Develop summary-level schedules that communicate and consolidate detailed IMS data for leadership and stakeholder reviews.
- Analyze budget, resource requirements, and performance metrics to ensure compatibility with cost, risk, and schedule objectives.
- Support cost and schedule integration activities, including Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) inputs, schedule health assessments, and performance evaluations.
- Perform resource loading, identify over-allocations, and conduct resource analysis and reporting in Microsoft Project.
- Utilize Milestones Professional and additional scheduling tools to enhance schedule communication and program insight.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of scheduling processes, IMS architecture, and reporting standardization across the International Program Team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience and a Master’s degree as a Program Scheduler on complex programs, or 18 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
- Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Project , including schedule development, resource loading, and advanced reporting.
- Advanced experience integrating tiered master plans and developing robust IMS architectures for large, multifaceted acquisition programs.
- Advanced experience with Milestones Professional and other scheduling and visualization tools (preferred).
- Experience performing cost and schedule integration activities, including EVMS and schedule risk considerations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present schedule findings, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, managing competing priorities and adapting to evolving program requirements.
