Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) to support students in a dynamic K-12 school district located in Auburn, AL. This contract position runs throughout the current school year, providing dedicated professionals the chance to make a meaningful impact on childrens communication development through both in-person and teletherapy modalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement treatment strategies aligned with student needs
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom settings effectively
• Participate in team meetings and document progress using the districts IEP system (training provided)
• Provide itinerant services across 2-3 school sites within the district
• Manage a caseload of approximately 67 students, ensuring consistent and measurable progress

Preferred Qualifications:

• For SLP candidates: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) with pediatric experience
• Experience working in school settings and delivering teletherapy services
• SLPA candidates must have relevant school-based certification and demonstrate competency in assisting SLPs
• Strong organizational and communication skills to maintain accurate records and collaborate effectively
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing caseload needs
