About the Role:
The Heavy Equipment Operator - Utilities plays a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of utility infrastructure, ensuring that essential services are delivered efficiently and safely. This position involves operating various heavy machinery, such as excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes, to perform tasks related to the installation and repair of utility lines. Minimum Qualifications:

- Valid heavy equipment operator's license or certification.

- Knowledge of local utility regulations and safety standards.
- Additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation or safety training.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and bulldozers for the installation and maintenance of utility lines.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with project managers and other operators to plan and execute utility projects efficiently.
