CB&A Project Management, a leading firm in the utilities sector, is seeking a highly skilled Front End Planning Scheduler to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the successful initiation and planning of complex utility projects by developing detailed schedules and coordinating task sequences that align with project objectives and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project scheduling methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

• Develop and maintain detailed front end project schedules that align with overall project goals and timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather necessary scheduling inputs and updates.
• Identify critical path activities and potential scheduling risks to ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect changes and mitigate delays.
• Facilitate coordination between different work teams to optimize schedule integration and resource allocation.
• Prepare reports and presentations on scheduling performance and forecast potential impacts on project delivery.
• Support project planning meetings by providing expert scheduling advice and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in project scheduling within the utilities industry or similar sectors.
• Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and scheduling methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to anticipate project constraints and impacts.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements in a fast-paced environment.
