Personal Injury Litigation Associate
About the Opportunity
This position is with a busy trial-focused plaintiffs practice that handles significant personal injury and complex tort matters. The team emphasizes strong client communication, hands-on litigation experience, and high-quality written advocacy.
Responsibilities- Manage a personal injury caseload from intake through trial.
- Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and trial-related documents.
- Take and defend depositions of experts, medical providers, and fact witnesses.
- Prepare clients and witnesses for deposition, mediation, and trial.
- Handle hearings as experience allows.
- Work closely with litigation support staff and maintain organized case files.
- Communicate proactively with clients throughout the life of each case.
- 3 to 6 years of civil litigation experience.
- Personal injury experience preferred, but candidates with transferable litigation skills are welcome.
- Strong writing and research skills are essential.
- Deposition and motion practice experience required.
- Trial experience is a plus.
- Active Alabama Bar license or ability to obtain one.
