Medical Surgical Licensed Practical nurse/LVN

Pro Med Healthcare Services is currently hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) for Medical Surgical positions. This role involves providing quality nursing care to patients in medical-surgical units, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout their hospital stay.

As an LPN/LVN in medical-surgical settings, you will work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, monitor patient conditions, and assist with treatment plans.

• Estimated Pay Package: $1500
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights 7p-7a
• Requirements: 1 year of hospital experience, BLS, long term care experience preferred;
• perm address +50mi from facility
• Unit is rehab beds for wound care, PT, IV therapy

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
• Assist with patient assessments and report any changes in condition promptly.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Provide patient and family education regarding care plans and health management.

Requirements

• Active and valid LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in medical-surgical nursing or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a healthcare team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
