Electrician Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Electrician for a company based in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for installation, replacement, alteration, adjustment, repair, and planned maintenance necessary to maintain reliable and functionally efficient operations of electrical lighting, power distribution, building systems, fixtures, and equipment.

Pay Rate
$28.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday through Friday (Hours may vary)

Electrician Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for carrying out skilled tasks in accordance with best practices of the electrical trade.

• Installs, maintains, and alters electrical systems up to 480 volts in facilities following standard safety procedures.
• Runs conduit, pulls wire, and installs circuits for electrically driven units. Maintains a clean work environment, cleans up, and properly stows tools and documents at the end of each workday.

• Inspects work upon completion and see that electrical code and facility requirements have been satisfied.

• Performs other duties assigned relating to the facilities manager.

Electrician Qualifications and Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship preferred.
• 5 years of related electrical maintenance experience is required.

• Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Ability to comprehend written and /or verbal instructions.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and organizational skills.
