217259 - Software Engineer
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Huntsville, AL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Recent 3 years of hands-on on experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python.
- Standard teaming: Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited universi.ty with 3-years of professional hands on experience
- Active/Final Secret Clearance.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of languages such as C or C++. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience – (GreenHill or VxWorks)
- Knowledge of Agile Software Development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Previous experience writing and designing to software requirements
- Previous experience Software Hardware integration.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university with 3-years of professional hands on experience.
WORK HOURS:
- 5/40-1st Shift.
