About Dog Ranch Resort
The Dog Ranch Resort is Lower Alabama’s premier destination for dog daycare, boarding, grooming, and basic training. We’re passionate about creating a safe, fun, and enriching environment for every dog that walks through our doors — from tiny terriers to giant gentle giants.

What You’ll Do:
As a Ranch Hand (Level 1) , you’ll be part of a team that ensures every dog enjoys a safe, clean, and fun stay. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and interacting with groups of dogs in daycare and boarding
- Feeding, watering, and monitoring each dog’s health and behavior
- Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, yards, and play areas
- Helping with check-in and check-out while communicating professionally with owners
- Providing enrichment and basic obedience training under guidance
- Following daily schedules and safety procedures to maintain top-quality care
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for team players who love dogs and thrive in a hands-on environment.
Required:
- Genuine love for dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Ability to lift 50–60 lbs and stand for 8+ hours
- Comfortable working outdoors and indoors in all conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Willing to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred:
- 1 year of prior dog-handling or animal-care experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
