As a **Senior Software Engineer** on the **Identity and Access Management (IAM)** team, you'll design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable cloud services that power our global authentication and authorization systems. You'll contribute to the technical direction of key projects, write high-quality code, and collaborate closely with engineers across multiple teams to deliver impactful solutions. You'll play a key role in building distributed systems, solving complex technical problems, and ensuring that our IAM services meet the highest standards for performance, security, and operational excellence. **NOTE: THIS ROLE WILL BE BASED ONSITE AT OUR NASHVILLE, TN LOCATION. NO EXCEPTIONS. RELOCATION MAY BE PROVIDED.** **Basic Qualifications** + BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience + 5+ years of software development experience + Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C#, or other object-oriented languages + Experience delivering high-scale, distributed services in a production environment + Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and system design + Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience operating mission-critical, Tier-1 live services + Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. + Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, etc. + Knowledge of multi-region deployments and multi-AD/AZ architectures + Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development + Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc. + Experience translating internal customer needs into prioritized features + Experience with monitoring, observability, and operational best practices. + Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, PCI DSS). \#LI-KR4 **Responsibilities** As a Senior Software Developer, you will: 1. **Develop and maintain** cloud-based identity and access management (IAM) services that are secure, reliable, and scalable. 2. **Implement new features and enhancements** based on design specifications and collaborate with senior engineers to refine technical approaches. 3. **Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code** in languages such as Java, Go, or C#. 4. **Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting** , helping to ensure high-quality releases and strong service reliability. 5. **Work closely with cross-functional partners** (product management, security, and operations) to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions. 6. **Support operational excellence** by contributing to monitoring, alerting, and incident response for the services you build. 7. **Continuously learn and grow** by staying up to date with modern cloud, security, and development best practices. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
