As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This position requires you to carry a concealed weapon and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties, so a valid driver's license is required. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site protocols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
- Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related threats or emergencies specific to an aerospace and defense environment.
- Operate and maintain assigned security equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have an active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions in the job state.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
