SKILLED FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Location: Decatur, AL
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Enjoy three-day weekends)
Starting Pay: Competitive pay starting at $17.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Job Description
A leading manufacturing company in Decatur, Alabama, seeks an experienced and dependable Forklift Operator to join its growing team. This full-time position offers weekly pay, a consistent four-day workweek, and the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, team-driven environment focused on safety, hard work, and professional development.
Responsibilities
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, stage, and transport building materials, including wood paneling and sheetrock, within a high-volume, automated warehouse environment.
Daily duties include supporting production needs, maintaining an organized and hazard-free work area, and strictly following all company safety procedures and protocols. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient material handling operations to meet production schedules.
Requirements
Candidates must have three to five years of recent forklift operating experience in an industrial warehouse or manufacturing setting. Forklift certification is preferred but not required. Those with less experience are encouraged to apply
Skills testing and screening will be part of the hiring process to confirm operational competency and safety adherence. Strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds routinely are required. Applicants must demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and a team-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Forklift certification is strongly preferred. Experience working in a high-volume, automated warehouse environment is a plus.
Work Environment
This role is based in a highly automated, fast-paced manufacturing facility. Physical demands include standing, lifting, and moving materials for extended periods. Adherence to safety standards is essential at all times.
