Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Calvert, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. In this location, you will complete routine patrols, respond to concerns, and contribute to daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, helping to support order at the location through visible presence and clear communication.
• Assist with routine security-related duties and/or special post instructions, adapting to varying working environments and conditions based on the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
