Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position is based onsite in the vibrant community near Madison, AL, covering the 2026/2027 academic year from July 27, 2026 to May 28, 2027. Full-time availability is ideal, with a consistent 35-hour work week. Multiple openings are available, and caseload specifics will be discussed during the interview phase, allowing us to match your experience and interests to the right role.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Alabama SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering communication skills and supporting diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; track and document student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to individualized goal setting
- Provide direct therapy services onsite, adapting approaches for student needs and school requirements
- Maintain consistent, clear records in accordance with state and district guidelines
