Responsible for managing and maintaining both electronic and paper-based documentation in compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports quality management systems and ensures accuracy, accessibility, and proper control of all organizational documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize documentation using systems such as SharePoint and electronic Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Ensure all documents comply with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and other applicable standards.
• Perform data entry, filing, and records management to maintain accurate and easily retrievable documentation.
• Review and proofread documents for accuracy, consistency, and clarity prior to approval and distribution.
• Support quality initiatives by managing and updating SOPs, work instructions, and policies.
• Manage document control processes, including version control, review cycles, and approval workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely document updates and proper document lifecycle management.
• Maintain both digital and physical filing systems for efficient document retrieval.
• Support internal audits by providing documentation and maintaining organized records.
• Assist with technical writing of SOPs, procedures, and quality documents.
• Review DCO/ECO packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Provide status updates and reports on documentation activities to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in document control within a quality or regulated environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficiency with document management systems (e.g., SharePoint) and ERP/QMS platforms.
• Strong data management, data entry, and records management capabilities.
• Excellent proofreading, editing, and technical writing skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience supporting quality assurance or administrative functions preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vestavia, AL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Vestavia,AL.
