Forklift Operator
Located in Cusseta, AL
Salary: $13 Job Title: Forklift Operator Location: Cusseta, AL Hours: 6am - 6pm EST, Mon - Friday, occasional Saturday. Great overtime! Pay: $13, this increases to $15 at 90 Days Job Summary Express Employment is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for the safe movement of materials, loading/unloading, and maintaining an organized work environment within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials and finished goods
- Supply production lines with necessary materials in a timely manner
- Verify materials using pick tickets, labels, or production documentation
- Perform basic forklift inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse/production area
- Follow all safety, quality, and company policies at all times
- Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse duties as needed
- Prior forklift experience required (automotive or manufacturing preferred)
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Full-time
- Shift details may vary (day/night/weekend as assigned)
- Manufacturing/warehouse setting with temperature variations and noise
