We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Warehouse Logistics Group Leader to lead logistics operations at our site. This role is a key member of the management team and serves as the central coordinator for all logistics activities. Responsible for ensuring cross-functional alignment with logistics, and the performance management of the logistics team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong operational mindset, a collaborative leadership style, and a passion for driving continuous improvement across the supply chain function.

🔧 What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership & Team Development

• Build and lead a high-performing Logistics team through coaching, goal setting, and talent development
• Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Champion GKN Aerospace’s “Great Place to Work” values across all logistics and planning functions

Logistics & Inventory Management

• Lead all logistics operations: freight, inbound/outbound flows, and internal movements
• Manage distribution planning and constraints to support outbound logistics
• Interface with external freight carriers and facilitate deliveries with local stakeholders

Performance & Process Optimization

• Monitor and analyze Logistics Costs.
• Reduce total logistics costs through process improvements and strategic initiatives
• Ensure compliance with GKN standards across people, processes, and tools

✅ What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in logistics leadership, ideally in aerospace or advanced manufacturing
• Bachelor’s degree in Warehouse Logistics, Operations, or related field
• Deep expertise in ERP systems
• Strong business acumen and ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Proven track record of driving performance, reducing costs, and leading change
• US Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance requirements.
