Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop, implement, and optimize CNC machining programs that ensure the accurate and efficient production of precision parts. The CNC Programmer will work closely with engineers, machinists, and production staff to translate blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM models into CNC code for plasma turret punch, mills, and other machining equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, test, and optimize CNC programs for machining operations.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files to develop machining strategies.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, speeds, and feeds for efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot and revise CNC programs to resolve production or quality issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and machinists to improve manufacturing processes and reduce cycle times.
• Conduct test runs and makes adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
• Maintain organized documentation of CNC programs and process sheets.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and quality requirements (ISO/AS standards if applicable).
• Stay updated with new CNC software, machining technology, and tool advancements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CNC programming software (e.g. Fusion 360, or similar). Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and machining practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM, AutoCAD software and 3D modeling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and other Autodesk software.
• Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication processes.
• Basic understanding of electrical components and systems.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate’s degree or certification in machining, manufacturing technology, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1-2 years of CNC programming and machining experience.
