Software Engineer (Remote)
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote Senior Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and support applications using modern and legacy .NET technologies. This is a more senior-level opportunity requiring strong hands-on development skills across C#, SQL Server, and .NET Framework/Core. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core
- Develop and maintain backend functionality using SQL Server
- Write complex SQL queries and work with relational databases to support application functionality
- Troubleshoot application issues and identify opportunities for performance and code improvements
- Collaborate with developers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to deliver quality solutions
- Contribute to technical design and development decisions within an established enterprise environment
- Strong professional experience with C#
- Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core
- Strong SQL Server experience
- Solid understanding of backend application development and relational databases
- Demonstrated experience working at a senior software engineering level
- Experience with Oracle databases
- Experience with Node.js
- Banking or financial-services experience is helpful but not required
