Customer Service Specialist

We are currently RECRUITING for an experienced Customer Service Representative for a client located in the Huntsville, Alabama area. In this position, the CSR would respond to customer inquiries and place customer orders to ensure customer expectations are accurately determined and met. This role required in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services and will develop and broaden relationships with customers to fully understand their needs and wants. Job duties:

• Interact with customers and take orders via phone, fax, email, or counter sales
• Order items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for customers
• Expedites backorders and pull inventory to prepare order for shipment
• Customer returns
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business by relating to the customer and drive process improvements
• Responsible for sourcing products in branch inventory, distribution center or supplier inventory
• Provide coaching, guidance, and direction to less experienced CSRs with addressing customer needs, including locating items and resolving issues
• Respond to complex customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes and handle order entry
• Excellent communication skills required (written and verbal)
• Ability to multi-task and manage time wisely
• Excellent computer and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

Communicates w/ customers, takes overs via phone, email, other electronic methods, walk-ins (counter sales). Negotiates sale price and purchase price within certain parameters. May adjust non-contract customer pricing to meet the demands of the customer based on competition while maximizing the profit for the company. Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business by relating to the customer and drive process improvements. Expedites backorders and pull inventory and prepare orders for shipment to customer. Responsible for sourcing products in branch inventory, distribution center inventory or supplier inventory. May handle customer returns. Provide coaching, guidance, and direction to less experienced Customer Service Representatives with addressing customer needs, including locating items and resolving issues. May be responsible for quality and/or safety in the branch. Responds to complex customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry. Perform other duties as assigned.
