Systems Engineer - Model-Based Systems Engineering Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related experience , OR
Master's degree in STEM and 5 years of experience , OR
PhD with 5 years of experience - Strong experience with:
- Cameo (MagicDraw/Cameo Systems Modeler)
- DOORS
- Strong technical background in:
- Architecture development
- Functional decomposition
- Requirements development and allocation
- Interface definition using system modeling tools
- Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML to model complex DoD systems
- Ability to work independently and lead within a small team environment
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Active DoD Secret clearance required
- Experience with cyber and safety requirements development and allocation
- Experience modeling or simulating defense systems or similar complex domains , such as:
- Launch support systems
- Flight test systems
- Intercept systems (ballistic or non-ballistic)
- Experience modeling or analyzing components of complex defense architectures, such as:
- Command and control systems
- Sensor systems (EO/IR/RF)
- Interceptors and tracking systems
- Fire control systems
- Systems engineering experience supporting large, complex systems
- Clearance: Secret
- Travel: Up to 10%
The selected engineer will support a complex defense system engineering effort focused on model-based systems engineering (MBSE) . This role involves developing and maintaining system architectures, defining requirements, and modeling system behavior for large-scale, mission-critical systems.
