Supervisor, Operations Management

L3Harris is seeking a dynamic Operations Supervisor to join our Huntsville, AL team. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for directing all work performed in production area(s) to meet production goals, to include safety, quality, delivery and cost. This role executes production schedules based on product demand, equipment efficiency/availability and inventory. The Operations Supervisor also ensures adherence to company policies and procedures within the workforce.

Essential Functions:

• Direct all work of direct reports. Manage the job functions for each team members. Communicate with the team, facilitate daily meetings. Generate and actively work development plans with team members.
• Execute production plans. Work cross-functionally with all departments and other leaders.
• Process team timecards.
• Provide team with performance feedback, performance management and performance reviews.
• Ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior manufacturing experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior manufacturing experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Leadership experience of non-exempt is preferred.
• Composite experience is preferred.
• Understands basic supervisory approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, and process execution.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and strategic mindset.
• Experience with Delmia is preferred.
• Experience with Concur/SAP, ARIBA and Envoy preferred.
