Small attorney-owned title insurance company seeks title insurance underwriter to oversee entire title department. Currently issuing around 20 policies per month, seeking the right individual to help us grow to 40 policies per month. Base salary commensurate with experience, bonus paid on monthly production. Duties include: start new files, review and exam title searches, prepare title commitments, prepare CPLs, monitor title status of all files, update changes on commitments, give excellent customer service, review closed files and prepare final policies and endorsements, oversee workflow for all title files and assigned closing files, assist with overflow of closing files, implement workflow efficiencies and tracking of files, follow process to ensure timely delivery of title policies, review mortgage release options.
