Supply Chain Specialist

Theodore, AL

$50-65k

Support the supply chain team in managing orders, tracking inventory, and coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and track shipments from factories to domestic location
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, customs paperwork, and compliance records for international shipments
• Communicate with freight forwarders and internal teams to coordinate container direct / air shipments
• Analyze transportation costs and recommend cost-saving strategies
• Prepare and update supply chain reports, including delivery timelines and cost analyses
• Support the team in resolving supply chain issues quickly and effectively
• Maintain accurate inventory records and flag potential shortages or overstock situations
• Communicate with suppliers to coordinate domestic shipments
• Help implement process improvements to increase efficiency
• Assist in processing purchase orders and tracking their progress from supplier to delivery

Required Skills and Competencies

• 2+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain
• Understanding of supply chain processes and terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP software
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills for working with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations is a plus.
